Pray! Community Guidelines

Effective date: April 6, 2026

Pray! exists to help people share prayer requests, pray for one another, and participate in respectful groups. These guidelines explain what is welcome and what may be removed.

1. Share With Care

Prayer requests can involve sensitive personal, family, spiritual, health, or hardship-related information. Share only what you are comfortable sharing with the selected audience. When writing about another person, avoid unnecessary identifying details unless you have permission.

2. Respect Other People

Do not submit content that attacks, shames, harasses, threatens, humiliates, or targets another person or group. Do not post hate speech, slurs, inflammatory religious attacks, bullying, graphic abuse, sexually explicit material, spam, scams, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.

3. Keep Prayer Honest and Non-Manipulative

Do not use prayer requests to pressure people, solicit money, promote products, spread rumors, impersonate others, or make intentionally false claims. Do not use anonymous prayer responses to evade accountability or harass other users.

4. Reporting Content

If you see a prayer request that may violate these guidelines, use the in-app reporting option. Administrators may review reports, remove content, preserve audit records, or adjust access to protect the community.

5. Groups

Group suggestions and membership requests are subject to administrator review. Group names and descriptions should be clear, respectful, and appropriate for a prayer community.

6. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

Pray! is not an emergency service or crisis-response tool. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If you or someone else may be considering self-harm, contact an appropriate crisis hotline or local emergency resource immediately.
